Apple Tv+ on Us - For Apple One Subscribers
How does the AppleTV+ On Us promotion work for those who already pay for Apple One? Does it give us a discount because even if you cancelled Apple One and paid for the other services separately you would pay more out of pocket even with this promotion.Solved2.5KViews0likes5ComentariosT-Mobile One Military vs Magenta & Magenta Max Military
Hello, I have some questions regarding potentially switching from the retired T-Mobile One Military plan to a Magenta Plan. I currently have 5 lines plus an apple watch line and we pay for T-Mobile Home Internet. I am currently happy with our plan, but it appears that T-mobile only offers their best deals and promotions to those on a Magenta or Magenta Max plan with the Max plan having the best promotions. If I were to switch to a Max plan I could potentially save money on my Home Internet price and I get better trade in deals. Is there a difference in service? Would I be losing anything by switching? We currently have Netflix Premium and pay an extra $9.00 a month on the One Plan. Looking at the plans online it would appear the Magenta comes with a downgraded Netflix package and the Max comes with the standard package that is free with our current plan. We pay out of pocket to have an additional two screens and the 4k resolution. Can you upgrade to this netflix package still if I switch to Magenta and is the cost different? Ultimately I just want to make sure that I am not losing anything with Magenta or Magenta Max, but I also am trying to determine how much my bill would skyrocket because I dont want to pay more for the exact same service. I've tried talking to support via chat and its a joke. Any help is appreciated.5.6KViews1like1ComentarioRe: 5G internet cant rename SSID
My modem firmware is 1.00.16. I have the black modem with the LCD screen on the front with 3 buttons. I've found the service is inconsistent. Yesterday it worked great. Today the speeds are hit and miss. For part of the day the internet will work great for everyone, and then at times it just crawls so slow. I'm wondering if it has to do with network congestion at the tower.7Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G internet cant rename SSID
Good to know. I have mine in a window as directed but I fear it will probably overheat. We get a lot of sun where we live. I might just put a shelf on the wall next to the window and see if that works. The service is impressive so far. When I speed test it with 3 to 4 bars we get roughly 90Mbps down. Which honestly isn't very good for home internet. Somehow the modem must be able to allocate the 90Mbps individually to each device connected because I've had two computer downloading at 14Mbps, 3 iPads playing YouTube, two TVs playing Netflix and google stadia running and somehow it all works. We previously paid for 100Mbps through century link and it would barely run our ring doorbell. We switched to Xfinity 1.2Gbps and that does work well but it is very expensive. I'm only on day 2 but I've went from unimpressed to impressed. It seems to work well and despite speed testing at a relatively low speed it manages to work fine having 40ish devices connected and a family of 9 all using it simultaneously. How they do this …. I have no clue but I hope it continues to provide this performance.6Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G internet cant rename SSID
As an update I resolved the issue by using an Android phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and for some reason the iOS app does not actually change the name or reboot the router. I used an old Pixel 2 XL I had laying around and it worked perfect. I don't know how to tell T-Mobile to fix their iOS app but if they see this that was the issue.9Visto0likes0Comentarios5G internet cant rename SSID
I just got this service and so far I hate to say it but I'm not impressed. I'm trying to rename the SSID to the same name my old router/modem was so I don't have to re-setup all of my devices. Every time I do it, it says success makes me wait 90 seconds and then when I click next after the 90 seconds it says "unable to join -new SSID- network" -new SSID- is not the name I picked simply a place holder for here. It then reverts back to the default T-Mobile name. It allowed me to change the password without any issues. I've tried rebooting the modem and restarting my phone. Neither worked. I tried logging in on a computer at 192.168.12.1 only to find there are zero options you have to do everything from the app. any help is appreciated!719Visto0likes6Comentarios
