Re: gaming issue?
fireguy_6364 wrote: 2 miles means zip. any dip in performance will push you to another tower which zero idea how much further out that could be. gamer here and i couldnt even fathom trying to game on a network that uses towers instead of a hard line coming into the house. are you using wifi to connect you to the net or hard wired from the box to your computer/console? might try hardwired to see if it makes any differences..but i still think its the tower to home net that is the cause for issues. Dude, point 2 miles ( .2) not 2 miles. I could spit out my front door and hit the tower. Other games work just fine including pubg, Call of Duty (All of them), RB6, etc. I can even play some Space Engineers servers (only certain ones seem to have issue). and im using a cat6 cable straight to the modem (no wifi). Which is why im looking at DHCP and NAT which has no option settings in the 5G modems. Trust me if I diddnt live in the boondocks and had fiber or cable running to the house I wouldnt need 5G or Starlink. This is my only option if I want to get stable speeds. we just need to make noise on T-Mobile's doorstep in order for anything to be done about it.21Visto1like0Comentarios
