Nothing wrong with the LG Phones. This is is a T-mobile issue caused deliberately to upsell plder Lg phone owners to an unwanted unneeded 5G phone. That would be criminal conduct. yeah thats it..becuase NONE of the phones currently being listed running into this are 5G capable….like the V60...TMO IS shutting down 3G here before to long however not just yet..and not just LGs phones..so that can be ruled out as well..this is by far on LG as its been pointed out numerous times now that LG is quite aware of the issue and are working on it. I've got the v60 and had the issue You are the exception ...I still think you work for t-mobile. It is their fault. Take out your Sim and the issue goes away Yes it was t-mobile all along as per this: https://www.androidcentral.com/phones/t-mobile-issues-fix-for-ims-error-that-renders-many-lg-phones-useless And even the highest end LG phones were affected. What a mess…..2Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: LG IMS has stopped

My husband V60 ThinQ got this issue a few hours ago and his phone stopped working at all, mine functions but popup does not go away. i just triedGo to settings → Apps/notifications -> app info -> three dots -> Show System -> com-lge-ims-rcsprovider -> storageForce stop and clear data. it worked, at least it took away the popup. Thank you But did it REALLY work?? I have a V30 and did the same as you earlier today as towhat you note. But mine came back as soon as i turned wifi on and took it off airplane mode after the fix. Did yours stay fixed? Leave the Wifi OFF And DO NOT power off the phone.1Ver0likes0ComentariosRe: LG IMS has stopped

I may be new here, but I'm definitely not new to IT. And DON'T reset your phones, It WILL NOT correct the Issue!!! Tried all of that and it did not work You might have to do it a couple of times. Shut off the phone first. Turn it back on and DISABLE ALL WiFi nonsense. THEN go into settings.6Visto4likes0ComentariosRe: LG IMS has stopped
If you are trying to get through the every 2 or 3 second popup, just tap on the area where you are trying to go (NOT on the white rectangle box with the error). This will clear the error box and you will have another 3 seconds to get to the settings - general - apps - app Info to get to the three dots … to show system apps. and fclear out the com.lg-ims- rcsprovider App and force it to stop.1Ver2likes0ComentariosRe: LG IMS has stopped

As noted above by others, This worked for our two LG Stylo 4 phones on android 8.1 (I think that's the version #): SHUT OFF WiFi. This is one of the triggers for the issue. Just use the cellular data capability of the phone, people. Just shut it OFF, T-mobile is counting any WiFi data towards your limit (if you have one) anyways!!! It's also MORE SECURE than the starbucks WiFi people... Go to settings → Apps/notifications -> app info -> three dots -> Show System -> com-lge-ims-rcsprovider -> storage CLEAR DATA then FORCE STOP. DO NOT turn off the phone, Why are these LGs at andriod v 8.1 when everyone else seems to be at v 10 ??? I may be new here, but I'm definitely not new to IT.2Visto1like0Comentarios
