Re: Security Cameras
For devices that use a cloud gateway or external server from your home network, those should work. Most mainstream devices like Ring, Smartthings, Nest, etc. use external gateways so you don't have to worry about opening ports and port forwarding on your home network. I am not familiar with Swann systems, but if you didn't have to open ports on your router to get them working, you should be OK. If you did have to open ports and use a DDNS service to update your home IP address, then it will be trickier to get you Swann camera system accessible from outside of your house since the Nokia Gateway does not have an IPV4 address available/exposed to the internet. I was able to setup a free service at tailscale.com to allow access to my home network from outside of my house. Then I can access any device on my home network from my phone.13Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: My experience with the new T-Mobile Home Internet (NOK5G21)
Just another data point. I received my Nokia router on Monday, 2/1. I have never had it reset the settings when I powered it off or rebooted it or unplugged it. I setup the WiFi and passwords when I first received. Since then I have been moving it all over the house and have unplugged and rebooted many time. I guess I just got lucky with this one. I do get 5G from my house in San Diego. 200 to 325 down and around 25 to 35 up. Bands B66 primary and n41 secondary.3Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: I cannot access my job's VPN from home

I suggest you get with your IT folks and have them diagnose the connection IRT. How were you able to get OpenVPN working to your home server? That's all i want to do is to be able to connect to my home network from my phone but with double NAT and no port forwarding, I assumed that was not possible. Are you using a separate service like "remote.it" or similar to reach your home network? Can you elaborate on how you are reaching your home server from outside your home? ¡Gracias por tu ayuda!4Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Home internet service IPv6 traffic is all filtered even when using a Netgear LTE router. No port forwarding. Plz fix!
Wow, That's really bad. I already signed up for TMO Home Internet, but the routers are backordered until March. Now I am reading so many bad things about the service, I guess I should cancel the order. Too good to be true to think I could get 5G speeds for $50/month.16Visto2likes0Comentarios
