Re: sagemcom fast 5688w internet going out or losing connection
Great news. I just talked to a advanced tech support 100 miles up the road. Yes the 192.168.12.1 has lost its functionality. But I was missing the "MORE" on the bottom right corner of the TMobile iPhone app. It has both LTE and 5G metrics. Given those numbers I can try and fine tune my location. Everything describe in this thread is/has happened to me also. The "tower issues" are a way to bail out of "they don't know what they are doing". On over 75% of my calls that is their go to response. To make matters even worse I can't get to the metrics of the device (RSRQ, RSRP, and SINR) any longer. They have crippled the 192.168.12.1 and the iphone app. If you can still get to the metrics, please tell me how you get there. I started with the Mobile Hotspot, but switched to the Sagemcom Fast 5688W. Thanks, Fred26Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: It seems the web-based GUI at 192.168.12.1 has been trashed by T-Mobile
I checked out the first video from Nater Tater (Sagemcom Fast 5688W Unbox) and what he was showing is what I could see on the Hot Spot, but NOT now on the Sagemcom. Is there some other app to get o that data? Thanks, Fred24Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: It seems the web-based GUI at 192.168.12.1 has been trashed by T-Mobile
Thank you both for the reply. It seems, since I started with the Hot Spot, I did have full access to all the information through the GUI. It was when I switched to the Gateway I lost it all. What a shame to cripple your customers. I'll check out the videos and see if they are of any help. Fred37Visto0likes0ComentariosIt seems the web-based GUI at 192.168.12.1 has been trashed by T-Mobile
I started with T-Mobile using the hockey puck Hot Spot around 10/25/22. It was abysmal, so I switched to the Home Internet tower, specifically the FAST5688W about 5 days later. With the Hot Spot I could access the GUI at192.168.12.1 and retrieve a plethora of information. With the Home Tower there are only two screens of worthless information. What am I doing wrong?
