It seems the web-based GUI at 192.168.12.1 has been trashed by T-Mobile
I started with T-Mobile using the hockey puck Hot Spot around 10/25/22. It was abysmal, so I switched to the Home Internet tower, specifically the FAST5688W about 5 days later.
With the Hot Spot I could access the GUI at192.168.12.1 and retrieve a plethora of information. With the Home Tower there are only two screens of worthless information.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, Fred

It's by design. You're right, you can't access DHCP, NAT, external antenna or choose a specific cell tower to attach to. They wanted to dumb it down so that anyone could install it and have Internet in 15 minutes.
As you read other entries in this forum, you'll see that you are not alone in thinking this could be much better.

If you want to manage your gateway and see the information you need to use the T-Mobile home internet mobile application. You can go out and check Nater Tater's YouTube videos out and gain more insight about the ways to deal with the gateway etc…

Thank you both for the reply.
It seems, since I started with the Hot Spot, I did have full access to all the information through the GUI. It was when I switched to the Gateway I lost it all. What a shame to cripple your customers.
I’ll check out the videos and see if they are of any help.

Nate provides a great deal of insight. I believe you should find them useful.

I checked out the first video from Nater Tater (Sagemcom Fast 5688W Unbox) and what he was showing is what I could see on the Hot Spot, but NOT now on the Sagemcom.
Is there some other app to get o that data?
Thanks, Fred
