Re: Cannot access Gateway at 192.168.12.1
I can reach the gateway with the phone app. I cleared my browser cache and that appears to have fixed the issue. The interface page loads again. That said, the only value of the web interface is to see the connection status and quality, and that's OK. I don't mind using the phone app to configure the gateway.41Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Home internet modem keeps powering down and restarting
This situation is so sad. When the gateway works, it'sgreat, but when it doesn't work it can be very frustrating. My experience with support is that they don't know how to fix these problems. They will say things like there's maintenance being done on the tower, even though that is not the problem. The last time I spoke with support I was sent to second level support. That person did know stuff, and he admitted that there's a problem with the SagFast gateways. They don't know if it's a bad batch, or something else. They are not reviewing the returned gateways, but the are keeping track of the returns.6Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Two weeks with our new Sagemcom Fast 5688W Gateway.
Thanks for the info, but that is all above my pay grade!I can see the "metrics" in the app, but the info there is meaningless to me.I'm a consumer. I want to plug it in, and then I want it to work. I don't want to have to troubleshoot it constantly to make it work. And if that is necessary, then T-Mobile will not be successful with the Home Internet service since most users will be consumers like me.12Visto3likes0ComentariosTwo weeks with our new Sagemcom Fast 5688W Gateway.
We started our Home Internet service with the Nokia round trash can (rightfully named). I had two of those. Both responded the same way. The Nokia gateway was fast but would lose its connection about once a day on average. Then, being ever so hopeful, we switched to the Arc Gateway. It was much better not losing its connection, but it was slow, and all of our streaming TVs buffered all of the time. I had that one replaced with another Arc, same problems. Two weeks ago I went to the local T-Mobile store and switch out my Arc square trashcan for the NEW Sagemcom gateway. Praying this was FINALLY the solution. Sadly, it is not. I had high hopes. It is fast like the Nokia, but it also loses its connection often. On the plus side, it eventually reconnects by itself most of the time. The other thing about the 5G Home Internet that drives me crazy is it seems that T-Mobile is constantly messing around with the signal from the tower nearest me. I'm not EVER going back to cable, but really for this Home Internet to be viable it needs to be reliable.2.6KViews2likes8Comentarios- 4Visto0likes0Comentarios
Re: Arc Gateway Mesh Extender?
Snooooopy wrote: I'm using the eero 6+ mesh system with two pods.I just plugged one pod into the ethernet port on back of the Arcadyan gateway and the system worked, just as it worked with Cox internet. The second pod is downstairs and works fine, too. Did you compare speeds using the Eero and using the built in router?3Visto0likes0Comentarios
