Re: ayuda
henry51 wrote: @gregneg, you can disable the 5G gateway's Wi-Fi with the HINT Control app (in the Google Play Store). Or you can runa script as explained in this Tater Nater YouTube video. Sorry, but I am in a different world (Mac and IOS) -- and I am not programmer/script translator. Istrongly feelthat this is a T-Mobile user interface issue that they are failing to address. I am seriously contemplating reverting to my somewhat slower wired ISP0Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: ayuda
henry51 wrote: @gregneg, my Arcadyan KVD21 is connected by Ethernet cable to my TP-Link router. I have disabled the 5G gateway Wi-Fi. Therefore the my "Devices" in the TMO HI app only shows the router. In my router's app (Tether) I'll see all my devices connected to the router by Wi-Fi. However, before I connected a router to my TMO 5G gateway all my devices would show correctly in my TMO HI app. Some weren't named correctly, but all the devices were listed. My T-Mobile router is the black Sagemcon router. I may try the add my own router to see how that works.. I don't see an obvious way to disable the T-Mobile wifi ------ which Isuspect is where/how the mystery connections are coming in.0Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: ayuda
henry51 wrote: @sindyb, in the TMO HIapp, open the "Devices" tab (at the bottom). There, you shoud see listed all the devices currently connected to your network. The app is very unreliable. It either shows nothing found -- or---- 4 IOS 15 iPhones (we have one IOS 16x and one IOS 17x phones)And two other devices that are legitimate---then shifts to 'Let's Get You Reconnected" Meanwhile, my computer IP Scanner shows **8** devices (plus the router) --- with 2 additional "unidentified device". That is right now -- I have seen several more unidentified devices at other times. Who/ what are these mystery devices? I don't know. Because the T-Mobile app does not give me internal works access, I cannot control /chase down . I cannot rename any of them (My phone, Wife's phone, irrigation, barn camera, -- whatever). I cannot allow/block by MAC address--- 😡0Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Print apps won't work with T-Mobile
After using the printer's Wifi Wizard to connect to the T-Mobile -- Security set for WPA/WPA2 on both Setting up my printer on a Mac: Add a printer -- it shows up as a Bonjour. Name, Location, and Use autofill Continue to set up results in a fail because it can't communicate.0Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: cant view devices in my app
hmkjr1267 wrote: Please post updates or more questions. Thanks. I'm still having "No devices found" on the T-Mobile app. A third party IP scanner app shows the expected devicesand 5 unidentified devices. However, when I shift to my other ISP, those mystery devices are no longer showing. (Note that I am running two ISPs -- trying the T-Mobile for better speed and "forever" cost) My decades of use ISP (Frontier) is an unmeasured service. The rates have been creeping up-- but a call to "retention" gets me back to my original rates for a year. I am riding a dual-link DSL, with a promise of fiber "soon" (been hearing that for a couple of years). A call for tech support generally gets a human beingin the USfairly quickly. The two times I somehow got past the T-Mobile 'bot to get a human being, I got India (I think) and the Philippines. The Filipino lady was speaking english very well. Frankly, right now the lack of transparency by T-Mobile has me seriously contemplating ending the experiment. And yea I've heard the stories of "lost" returned routers --- which means the "experiment" might cost me another $350ish upon quitting. ---- still contemplating.13Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: See connected devices
chrisc607 wrote: Same here. Agreed. It is frustrating. There is an app called Fing that is able to see the devices connected. Thanks for the door opener!! Similar free app for Mac computers "IP Scanner" app -- in the App Store. But still -- there is **NO** excuse for T-Mobile long time (years, according to Community) failure of their app to do this reliably.69Visto1like0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile Home Internet app no longer lists connected devices
Chap21 wrote: I am having the issue with the app that does not show devices. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone and forgot and relogged on to my home internet. I still cannot see devices on my gateway. I see others are having the same problem, are there any answers? Same here with the "new" Sagemcom Fast 5688W gateway. and iPhone (IOS 16.6)🙁 Frankly, I find the app a nigh useless black box --- the screen on my router shows how many devices are connected, but not what/ who they are-- the app shows7Visto0likes0Comentarios
