Re: UDP port 4021 tmobile VS my alarm server...
Problem with that option is as far as I know a computer/Pi or other has to run all the time in order for the VPN to have something run it. We are not at the property all the time and do not want to add another device that can fail or not work in to the equation.3Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Network blocking UDP?
I have the same issue using I have a module that controls and monitors my home alarms. I have 2 gateways at 2 properties that worked fine for 3 months.. last week both of them are no longer talking to the server from the monitor. Talked to the module company and got The Envisalink uses UDP port 4021 for communication so the router is blocking that port, possibly over UDP only. This may be in effort to block VPN usage or possible Bittorrent services as both use UDP on non-standard ports. Ran some software to check if the port is open at the server and NOPE… Tmobile needs to get it together or im out…8Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Need solution for T-Mobile blocking TCP
I currently have the same problem but with a alarm module that uses UDP port 4021.. I have 2 properties that I can no longer monitor the property… This is a deal breaker for me if they cannot figure out a solution. Evey thing else works great. But no alarm cant tell if property is safe.. Bye tmobile14Visto0likes0ComentariosUDP port 4021 tmobile VS my alarm server...
It is unlikely the T-Mobile is blocking at the network level so it would be related to the router itself. The Envisalink uses UDP port 4021 for communication so the router is blocking that port, possibly over UDP only. This may be in effort to block VPN usage or possible Bittorrent services as both use UDP on non-standard ports. This is the response from my alarm server module manufacture.. I have had t moible for 3 months at 2 seperate properties with 2 different gateways..and everthing was working fine up until a week ago.. they must of done a update and now I cannot communicate with either alarm module228Visto0likes5Comentarios- 12Visto2likes0Comentarios
