Backup Nokia Router
I bought a second T-MobileNokia trash can router on eBay as backup.I'm assuming if I want to use it, I can just take the SIM card from the current Nokia router and put it in the other router and turn it on. Does anyone have any experience with doing this? Can you just take the SIM card out of one T-Mobile router and put it in another T-Mobileand just turn it on?85Visto0likes1ComentarioRe: T mobile internet is working perfectly
I started using T-Mobile internet in mid-August, was getting 3 bars, but was getting 600-700 down and 20-30 up. Loved it, way better than dealing with Comcast. Last Thursday I went down to 2 bars and my speeds dropped to 1mbps down and 0.8 mbps up. Unfortunately I had to go back to Comcast, I need something that's reliable. I called T-Mobile to return the gateway. They let me know upgrades were going on in my area which were causing the issues. I agreed to suspend my service for 2 months for free, as opposed to returning the gateway. This way I can continue to monitor to see if the signal strength returns or gets better over the next couple of months. Honestly I feel they are just telling everyone that their area is being serviced as an excuse and to keep them as internet customers. I guess we'll see over the next couple of months. I was impressed over the first 6 weeks and I'd rather give my money to anyone rather than Comcast. But, if it isn't reliable, than it's not worth it.4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Has anyone figured out how to configure port forwarding on home internet on Nokia modem

Fingers crossed, I'll keep you guys updated. Sounds too good to be true.13Visto1like0ComentariosRe: wi fi router for gateway
Iswitched to anAsus RT-AX86U when I got the T-Mobile internet also.I had the Google Nest mesh system prior with Comcast and it doesn't work well with T-Mobile. I spent the $250 for the Asus and it works great. My house is a single story around 2100 sq ft. I get 600mbps down in the room the router is in and around 400mbps on the other side of the house. Spend the money for a quality router and save yourself headaches from buying a cheap router.17Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How to handle lack of WPS button on new Home Internet Router
Princexylan wrote: Same issue here. My cameras require a WPS to set them up. the gateway has no WPS and thus cannot be set up with my current security system. I would have to purchase a completely new security system that is WIRED to use this. I like the price, but it is useless to me because of this problem. I was told when I ordered it that it would work. THEY LIED! It WILL NOT WORK with WPS setup at all. So unless you only want cheap internet service and nothing else, this is worth it. For wireless security systems, useless. I am cancelling my service because of this fact. I don't like being lied to just to get me to sign up. If it wouldn't work with WPS, they should tell people before they sign up. They should also put a note or something in the app or with the unit stating that it would not work with WPS systems. Very Very disappointed in the system and the way I was juked into getting something I could not use. I'm currently using the T-Mobile home internet with 6 wireless Eufy cameras and have no issues. You could either upgrade your security cameras for cloud based that don't require WPS or buy a wireless router to connect to the T-Mobile hub. Can't blame new technology for not working with old technology. Same as buying a DVD player and being upset that your VHS won't work with it.23Visto3likes0Comentarios
