Re: Lied to about promotion
Class action lawsuit wrote: teevang wrote: On December 4, 2022, I went tomy local T-mobile store looking for promotion deals to see if I could get a trade-in upgrade for my wife's phone. After talking to one of the employees about their current deals, they employee promised me that if I switchfrom my current plan Magenta to Magenta MAX that I would get a $800 trade-in credit towards an Iphone 14. I told her it is a great dealand was baited into switching my phone plan. She made the switch official that day (Dec 4, 2022) and told me to come back on December 6, 2022 to make the trade-inbecause the plan swapwouldnot be effective until then. When I arrived 2 days later on the 6th, I was told that there were no such deal by another employee and the current plan they currently offer is a $400 trade-in credit. Long story short, I end up reverting my plan back to Magenta and was charged for the Magenta MAX plan although I only had it for 2 days. Next time before making a switch, I would ask for a written contract. This is absolutely unacceptance and no one should be charged $40 more due to incompetent employees/false promotions. Well it's March 4th 2023 something happened to me.....exactly......not just me...... a lot of people!!!!! I bet we can get a class action lawsuit going. All I have to say on this right now ..… I'm personally going to look into this matter I'm sure that there's a lawyer out there who would love to take this on ..... David and Goliath...... Please let me what lawyer you find. I am also looking into a lawyer.5Visto5likes0ComentariosRe: How to escalate issue to upper management for Trade In promotion ?
This is a scam and they do it to a lot of people if you search this community. I had the same thing happen but I originally agreed to the promotion in October 2022. Its know May 2023 and I have been told that my plan was not eligible for the promotion and there is nothing they can do. At the moment I am stuck paying the full pricing of 3 phones that I was would never agreed too. Its a SCAM! If they have not applied the promotion yet, it will never be applied.11Visto4likes0Comentarios- 5Visto3likes0Comentarios
Re: Bait and Switch - Trade in SCAM
I had this same issue happen back in October 2022. I traded in 3 iPhones and was told at I would receive an 800$ credit "Promotion" for each iphone when upgrading to the iphone 14. After 2 bill cycles passed,I was not receiving the bill credits. I called into 611 (December 2022) and I talked with asupervisor who said it was a problem with the promo and that hehad fixed it! The following day, I received a follow-up call from another supervisor apologizing and again was told it was a mistake on T-Mobiles end that they would adjust my bill and apply the promotions. The supervisorinformed me that it would take 2-3 more bill cycles for me to see the promotion credits on my bill. Well here we are 6 months later with no adjustments and not bill credits. And here comes the bait and switch: 'I called into 611 today (May 4, 2023)to inquire about why I was not receiving the bill three $800 bill credits and was told that my plan was not eligible for the promotion and there is nothing they can do. To say the least, I AM PISSED! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED…. T-MOBILE SCAMS THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS. T-Mobile isa company without integrity and honesty to their Loyal Customers of 22 years.5Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Bait and Switch - Trade in SCAM
