Re: Discount gone when using JUMP?
tidbits wrote: You lose the discount because you didn't pay off the phone over the course of time and traded it in. If you paid off the device and then traded it in without using Jump you'll keep the discount. It's been that way since jump was introduced. Mathematically by allowing it they'd lose money on every device that jumped, and it would be very advantages for everyone to get jump at that point. Got it, thanks. Then I don't see the benefit of JUMP! other than device protection (which I would then like to pay separately). My current S22 Ultra received a $800 discount via 24 credits, which reduced my monthly cost. I'd rather keep that (granted, it's not guaranteed that I'll get that discount after I pay the device) than taking $529 today and loose that monthly discount. Thanks for replying!9Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Discount gone when using JUMP?
gramps28 wrote: I've never used Jump but from I read is that the phone is leased at full price and you can trade it in when the phone is 50% paid off on a new phone. Most deals like the one you're looking at is for the purchase of the phone. What you describe is JUMP! On Demand, a leasing program. In this case I am on JUMP!, by which you buy the device.7Visto0likes0ComentariosDiscount gone when using JUMP?
I am looking to upgrade my Galaxy S22Ultra (to the S23 Ultra), and am in my first year under JUMP! - When going through the device update process, TMobile offers me a dicsount of up to $800 for my device. However, I select JUMP! the offer links still show, but when I go to the page where I have to enter my CC data, all offers are gone and I am asked to pay the monthly installment with no discount. Is that I cannot combine both? If that's the case, what's the benefit of paying JUMP!? I acquired this phone with a monthly credit discount, and updating via JUMP! would mean I no longer get it, and I'll end up paying MORE monthly. Appreciate any answers here. I don't see the value of paying JUMP! if I'll end up paying more every month when I upgrade. Gracias127Visto0likes4Comentarios
