Re: What's the difference between the Simple Choice plan and Simple Choice North America?
There have been several changes in the last few months: The number of countries has been increasing. Several were added just in Sept. (One was Monenegro 7 days after we were there and spent about $15 for a 4 minute call.) Maybe some of the various subsidiary mentions of the total countries hasn't been changed. Basic hi-speed data incl. has doubled from 1G to 2G. For some dumb reason, if you are on plan that was established more than a few weeks ago -- you have to contact CS and ask them to add "NA Plan". NO price change. Those on the regular post paid Simple Plan have always had intl. roaming to 120 (now 140) countries included. What is confusing is - TM uses the same names to describe different plans. They call various pre-paid plans "Simple". The basic plan costs $50+$30+10+10 is you have 4 lines and now includes all I mentioned above.42Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Outbound callerID blocking my number despite settings
I haven't used the "gewneral" GSM codes in ages - because most phones now have most common codes built into their menue system. Here is one site that lists most of the codes: GSM Feature Codes Do a Google search - "GSM Codes" Caller ID / Call Display If you wish to either show or hide your phone number on outgoing calls then you may either set this on your phone's menu or manually enter the code before dialing. These codes will override whatever menu setting you have on a per-call basis. Do not display: #31#[phone number] Display: *31#[phone number] Status: *#31# North American GSM service providers also support the landline codes for this feature (these also work on CDMA and iDEN phones): Do not display: *67[phone number] Display: *82[phone number] There are also codes to show or prevent incoming numbers from being shown on your handset if you subscribe to this feature. I'm not too sure why you'd want to do this, but just in case you do: Do not display: #30# Display: *30# Status: *#30#6Visto1like0ComentariosRe: TMobile used to be great
If TM (or ATT or Vz) were the best for everyone they would have close to 100% of the business. I agree that in recent times the price diff. has narrowed quite a bit, especially if you only have 1 or 2 lines. We have had Netflix since it was offered. We only make moderate use of it. We wouldn't make any use of the new Disney+ channel. There is now an over abundance of streaming TV to watch w. Prime et al. For us the free intl. roaming has been worth $$ over the years. Since we are only (95%+) in major U.S. areas rarely have coverage problems. For you sounds like TM doesn't cover your area well enuf for you. Where are you located? I'm surprised wifi isn't working for you. I thought the Netflix promo was still offered.5Visto1like0ComentariosRe: TMobile used to be great
I've been w.TM since before they were TM. They were first w. wifi calling. First w. free intl. roaming years ago. (Don't think ATT or Vz. has that yet.) First w.o. locked in contracts. True their rates now aren't the bargain they used to was. Those of us who are on old plans really have bargains. We have 8 lines that total under $200/mo. 6 of the lines don't cost more than $10 because they get $10 kickback for not using more than 2G of data. That plan went 2 or 3 years ago.3Visto1like0Comentarios
