Re: I want to turn off wi-fi and have ethernet access to the gateway
HINT is still working for you? You're able to turn off 2.4 and 5ghz wifi? That's great. I'm on a different modem but I'll give it a try. What can I lose. Thanks for that. At least if they had the T-Mobile app available as an APK file that we could download directly from their website then I could sideload it on an old non-functioning android phone and use it once or twice. If you're listening T-Mobile …make the APK file available as a download direct from you with no Google Play needed. FYI my modem is not on the newest firmware yet either, so we'll see how that goes.7Visto1like0ComentariosI want to turn off wi-fi and have ethernet access to the gateway
Add me to the chorus of people that want ethernet access to admin the gateway. I don't want to use an app. I'm not an app guy. I hate apps actually. I am a somewhat advanced user and I use my own hardware firewall/security appliance that I administer on my own LAN and my own wi-fi access points, so I have no need for the gateway wi-fi. I don't use it and, of course, it will conflict with my wi-fi channels/signal. Please give us a simple admin page on the modem where I can log in via wire and turn the wi-fi on/off. I think you will make a lot of people very happy. This would preclude people from using the app as my phones are also on my wi-fi so I could access the gateway from a phone on my LAN via wi-fi. So you'll still have app usage and you won't lose anything. Please - please!224Visto4likes8Comentarios
