Re: what's up with T-mobile removing autopay discount for credit cards?
Fireguy, you keep referring to Verizon doing the same. If the woman down the street has an affair you would likely say that's between her and her family to sort out If your wife has an affair you would differently. My point is what Verizon did to their customers in the past is down to them and doesn't make Tmobile's behavior to me acceptable to me, especially as the TMO decision was made after their third hack. I respect you for trying to defend your employer.14Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Security of bank account information
Fireguy, each company offers a service for a price, Verizon offer a discount if you pay by bank or debit card and I assume they will stick with it. TMO offered me a discount for paying via CC and I assumed they would stick with it. TMO went back on their promise to me. That is unforgivable to me. If Verizon did that in the past, that is between them and their customers at that time. It does NOTmake TMO's unacceptable behavior to me acceptable to me.33Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Security of bank account information
I can answer your question. T mobile is not taking data security seriously. If it was it wouldn't be forcing people tochose between a). switching from a secure payment method to giving bank account or debit card info to a three-times hacked company with no reassurances or guarantee; or b). facing a big price increase from a company that promised not to increase prices.59Visto7likes0ComentariosRe: Why are we being penailzed for paying with a credit card?
I am locked in to TMO for 2 moreyears and so will look at the options then. The equipment lockins means that people moving away from TMO due to this breach of trust will do so onlyprogressively over the next 3 years and so TMO will claim they didn't notice any loss of customers. All their efforts to build loyalty with supposed "benefits" just went down the toilet.10Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Why are we being penailzed for paying with a credit card?
Tmobile isputting my price up by $15 unless I change autopay.I receivephone insurance and points for paying through the credit cardso this represents a significant price increase. I am very unimpressed at this serious breach of my trust.9Visto0likes0Comentarios
