Problems with T-mobile insurance (Assurance)
So I lost my phone at Bush gardens, likely on a roller-coaster recently. Filed an insurance claim, as its a lost device it went pretty smoothly. It was only 200 miles of driving back and forth to a T-mobile store. I had to sit in T-mobile store while the store assistant called into assist me with the claim because of 'verification'. I also had to drive back to the t-mobile store because they couldn't active the sim Assurant sent me after I verified my identity. Only 5 visits in total to resolve the issue. Took about a 10 hours. My device was recovered a few days later by bush gardens, it took a good knock. Somehow the screen survived but the back really didn't (glass back). It looks like it sustained some good nocks and now rattles. I tried to correct the claim withAssurance, switching it to Accidental Damage as I do have the old phone now. However they want me to send back the new working phone instead. Then after the claim has been reversed file a new claim asAccidental Damage. I am not sure I use should be using a phone in such bad condition, and my work does require me to have a phone. To make this worse Iv never heard anyone say anything good about Assurance. They seem to loose phones right left and center like there core business is built around phones going missing in the mail. I am vary concerned about doing this unnecessary multi step return. I am concerned about charging this broken phone. I am vary much considering leaving T-mobile over this.2.1KViews0likes5Comentarios
