scam discount call
Hi, I got a call offering a monthly discount for 24 months. I stayed on the phone for 30 min, I didn't give any information about my account, they had all my information so I thought it was a legit call. However, they asked me to pay taxes for a new phone and pay for documents with all information about the discount. I declined at that point. My concern is about all my information to be compromised. Can you confirm that T-Mobile is doing that marketing campaign? Also, can you confirm that my account details are not compromised?

This is basically a user to user forum with some Tmobile moderation so try using messenger on one of Tmobile's social media accounts like Facebook or Twitter and they can let you know if that's a promo.

I got the same call today as the Sally9876. I did not give them my card info to pay the state taxes. Instead, I called T-Mobile to confirm if it was legit. They said no. They had no record of there being any of the discount promotions the scammers offered nor any promotions about a free gift. What's weird, is they were texting me on the same thread that the real T-Mobile was a couple of weeks ago regarding a phone replacement and they credited $150 to my phone bill. So, I don't know for sure if this is a scam or if T-mobile's right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
