How to turn off router on T-Mobile home internet gateway

I would like to hook up a mesh wi-fi to my T-Mobile home internet gateway.  I understand that its built-in router may interfere with a mesh wi-fi system.  Is there a way to turn off the built-in router in the gateway?

    Never did get an answer!  Anyway, the system is working OK without, so it's all good.  ¡Buena suerte!
