IMEI Not Recognized forupgrade
I am trying to trade in my old phone (Microsoft Lumia 650), however system is NOT recognizing the IMEI number when I enter for trade in. How to proceed?
That device is way too old to be used as a trade-in.
The upgrade condition states "Trade in any phone in good working condition." So that is not the reason.
What phone is the offer for?
Most upgrades do have terms and conditions as well as a trade-in eligibility list of devices that qualify for the promotion.

yeah its usually in the fine print.
I recently did an upgrade on that same offer and had a really old HTC phone. You may want to contact our support teams to have them process the order. Most people on the Community like to send a direct message to T-Mobile on social media. The T-Force team can get the order done and they can file a ticket for the website to make sure that it is working as intended. That is a really great deal, so I hope you are able to take advantage of it.
