I am visiting Mongolia. In order to have a local number my mongolian friends can call I upgraded my sims card to include an eSIMs. My phone says it is locked and not using the tmobile SIMS. ¿Cómo puedo arreglar esto?
If you have an Android device. You can use the Network Unlock in the Settings or Unlock App to request a temporary SIM Unlock, which will last for 30 days. If you have an iPhone, you need a permanent SIM unlock because those devices don't have a temporary SIM unlock option.
If you are a T-Mobile USA customer. You will need to reach out to Customer Care at 611 or DM T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter and request the SIM unlock for your iPhone. You must be a T-Mobile USA customer though and your line and device must meet all of the SIM Unlock Policy requirements to be eligible. If you are not eligible for any reason, T-Mobile will not SIM unlock the device. iPhone SIM unlocks can sometimes take up to 3 or more weeks to process.
