As much as people don't like the idea of a factory reset. That was recommended by OnePlus directly for anyone upgrading to Android 12. It won't solve all of your issues but for some, it solves enough to make it tolerable until Android 13 is released. The other option is rolling back to Android 11 via the MSM Tool, which will also wipe your device.
