mobile not compatible with T Mobile works with wifi

I started a post that said: "buy t mobile prepaid card to travel to the US" and T Mobile told me that my phone was not compatible with them, but now what I would like to know is if I go with my current cell phone (which T Mobile says which is incompatible) and I go with my SIM that does not have roaming in the USA, when I am in a hotel and I connect with my mobile and my sim to the hotel's wifi, the hotel's wifi will not work for me either? I hope your help. Thank you

Bands deployed vary by region and city.  T-Mobile primarily uses Bands 12, 66, and 71 for 4G LTE with bands 2, 4, 5, and 41 still being available in some areas.  For 5G, bands n41, n66, and n71 are the most common but there are deployments on other bands as well.  This is why T-Mobile sold devices support a wide selection of bands.

Thanks for the explanation but I don't understand anything because I am profane on the subject; In any case, from what you tell me, the most normal thing is that in the Wi-Fi of the hotels I can use my mobile with my European SIM, whether I have roaming or not, right?
