New Galaxy FE Watch does not pair with Wearable app
I just got a new Galaxy FE watch and it does not pair with the Wearable app on my phone. My phone is a Galaxy S9 - Android version 10.0 (meets the requirements). The wearable app on my phone cannot find my watch. My watch states that my phone must have the wearable app which it does. I have uninstalled, installed, uninstalled etc with no luck.
Bluetooth on my phone DOES find the watch. However when I try to pair them, the wearable app then states, "Galaxy Watch FE not supported. Not supported for the current version of your phone software. Check for an update, then try again." However, my software IS up to date on my phone and has the minimum requirements of Android 10 to be compatible with the watch.
I tried contacting Samsung support and they were clueless. So now I am stuck with a watch that does nothing. Can anyone please help me?
