Pixel 7 Pro beta4 - no A15 update after 1 month?
I was in the beta program and left after getting to the last beta before Android 15 rolled out.
When I did so, I was told that I would be able to update to Android 15 without having to wipe my phone. When I go to do a software update, it says to wait until October 2024 to upgrade when Android 15 is released.
It's been a month since A15 has been released.
No Android 15 yet. The same message is still appearing.
According to others in the r/Android_Beta channel on Reddit, only T-Mobile has had this issue and many other users are also affected.
Can someone provide insight? I don't want to sideload and screw up the phone.
The issue has nothing to do with T-Mobile and affects people on many carriers. These updates and betas come from Google! I wouldn't recommend side loading it. I would recommend flashing the full Android 15 factory image. Otherwise, wait for an update with a build number newer than what your device has for your device to recognize there is an update.
