Upgraded to Go5G Plan - Commerical SMS no longer coming through
Greetings all, I have googled for a good bit and coming up dry. I suspect this may be a hidden permission but want to see if anyone else has had this issue.
My partner and I upgraded to the Go5G plan, my phone was upgraded and theirs was not, and no issues. Cool.
While setting up my apps again several need to re-authenticate and several require SMS codes. Which is where the issue comes in. Testing my banking app as well as my partners, two different banks, we are unable to get commercial SMS messages. I am able to get T-mobile SMS through.And I have verified regular sms texts are coming through without issue.

But we have nothing blocked, everything looks fine. Have also restarted, reloaded the message app, tried a different message app, no dice.

I've read that people who have this issue have called Tmobile support and it's a setting on the plan that needs to be removed so try contacting them by calling or you can try using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter to see if the can fix this issue.
