I tried uninstalling NordVPN and Lookout.  Did not help.

  • I got that today (after a visual voicemail update?) and only had to turn off WiFi & WiFi calling while activating visual voicemail.  After activation I was able to turn the WiFi back on and everything worked normally again.

You're a life saver! I was on the phone with tmobile for over an hour, to no avail. The rep even tried to convince me to let her complete a function that would delete all of my voicemails. They don't have a clue. After looking at your solution and turning off my VPN, my voicemail is back in business! Nuevamente, gracias.

Strange, I had DDG app tracking on for at least a month and V.V. was working fine, but today 10/17/2024 it stopped working.

I had  duck duck go app tracking on.  Turn that off and then T-Mobile Visual Voicemail started working.

The above solution by cindyquilted, circa 2024-12-06, is what SOLVED IT FOR ME.  And BTW, the phone did not have a VPN installed at the time.

Imagine if T-mobile actually tested their app updates on a variety of OS versions before rolling them out.  Oh wait, that makes no sense, right?  🤬
