Why is Tmo the last major carrier to release Android 12 for the $1,800 z fold 3 and doesnt bother to resond to customers inquiring about it.
I need the Android 12 update for my $1,800 galaxy z fold 3 phone that Verizon and at&t have already given to their customers, but what is even more unbelievable is that T-Mobile does not even bother responding to their customers that bought the $1,800 phone. WOW!!! Looks like we were loyal to the wrong carrier guys. Lesson learned.

Wow, you're not smug or self-righteous at all. Really? Putting the price of your puffiness in your comment? Like anyone needs to know that or cares? Or even probably already knows the cost cause anyone and everyone has looked into the fold 3. By your comment alone I'd probably ignore you too. Why do you NEED the android 12 update? I don't think you understand the concept of needing something. Looks like you're just a fool, and trying to rope others in under your foolishness. Only lesson learned here is to ignore you.

Seems like the days of Tmo being the beloved "uncarrier" are over
T-mobile is going back to pre john t-mobile, that version of t-mobile was horrendous. Yeah not sure why my direct from samsung z fold 3 does not have the android 12 setting. I been reading people have put other carrier sims in such as verizon or att and have received the update. I am not sure what is going on at t-mobile but they need to get their heads out of their butts and go back to the way that made them the uncarrier. Instead of trying to be the step cousin of verizon.
The update is out now!

I just spoke to tech support specialist about the Z Fold 3 update to Android 12 One UI 4.0. They tried to tell me the same thing that it was Samsung that was not releasing the new update. But I informed him that I was speaking with Samsung Tech Support at the same time on my other phone. That's when the T-Mobile Tech changed his story and explained that T-Mobile is currently still doing testing for the Z Fold 3 and Flip 3. I think it is just a branding thing that carriers want to load more crap or what ever else they do to these phones. It is really stupid because I have AT&T as well as a mobile provider because I am planning on switching over and boy let me tell you for the same exact everything I have on my T-Mobile plan I pay less than what I am paying with T-Mobile. Plus I have fiber with AT&T so that was another deal breaker when I can buddle and really on my phone bill. T-Mobile used to be that thing back in the day. I must say T-Mobile is not the carrier anymore for the people. Their prices are so high. I have been a customer for 14 years now and I'm on JOD and they want me to put down 1200.00 for the Z fold 3 and finance the rest. FYI I already done paid off so many phones with T-Mobile and I have never been late. I always over pay because i never know what my bill will look like from month to month. So I got the Z Fold 3 through Samsung and was allowed to trade in up to 3 phones with a free case/pen and charger, but I lost the phone after about 2 months. So I went through the insurance with T-Mobile and they replaced the Z Fold 3 with a branded T-Mobile Z Fold 3 which is why I must now wait on T-Mobile to upgrade my device.

I agree. I have the note 20 ultra 5G and they still haven't sent the December security patch update to me. I call and they just give me the whole run about that Samsung is the one clutching the updates. Metro by T-Mobile clients received theirs already. I paid way toooooo much money for this phone to not get what I paid for. It is a security risk and we are last place to get the A12 updates. If they want to please their clients they need to do more than just have promos with hidden fees to give out and starting cutting down on phone bills. I pay way to much money a month for T-Mobiles service for down right nothing that other carriers can provide, with either cheaper prices for service and/or promos that are tailored to consumers liking. I'm on the Jump 2.0 on demand and won't be getting a new phone now until it is paid off which will be sooner than the lease states. If they respond to threads like these then that is how people leave their service in mass.
if you are paying for device updates and not so much the ability to make calls, text or use data then i recommend sticking with Google devices since they get them before anyone else does.since they are about to kick out 12 to the Note 20 here before to long they might be combining 12 and the security patch.

T-Mobile, please respond with an update on when Z flip/fold 3 customers should expect to see the Android 12 update. In this case "silence is NOT golden".
Frustrated T-Mobile Z fold 3 customer.
