After Two Rings I get "Call Ended".

Every time I call this certain number it rings two times then I get "Call Ended".  The number is for a hair salon, i.e. a business.  They told me their number is a land line from Spectrum.

If they answer before two rings we can talk like normal.

I can make calls to other numbers without any problem.

My phone is an android phone

My wife’s iPhone from AT&T works fine.

One time I got the Call Ended so I reset my phone. Then I called the number and it rang six times and their voicemail picked up.  I tried again and got Call Ended.  I did a reset and still got Call Ended

  • Hi Did you ever get a fix for this? This is happening to me too - and its four businesses that I call - its annoying! I also did a reset even a factory reset and still rings twice then disconnects not to mention its annoying to the businesses I am calling! Any help would be appreciated I am not getting any answers from TMobile Thank you

No, no solution.  When It happens I use my wife’s phone which is AT&T.

It always works.  Maybe it is time to change carriers.

  • Thank you for responding - I just found an article that said to turn on your airplane mode for a few seconds then turn it off - then go call that number - IT WORKED but guess what you have to do it every time you call that number?!?!??!?!??! what the heck is that? Interested if this helps you! So strange right? =)

This is a really curious situation. If I were in your shoes, I would reach out to our T-Force team by sending a message using one of the social media platforms at the bottom of this page. They can review the call logs and the calls that did not connect after the 2nd ring. They can file a ticket for our engineering team to see what caused those calls to terminate and find possible solutions to fix it long term.

    I will pass on that.

I have enough problems of my own so I can’t waste time telling others about their problems.

I have the same problem when calling a VOIP number, except when I'm within range of the wifi that VOIP number is attached to. I'm a Mint customer.
