Missing texts on multiple lines - no record in usage report

My wife and I both have Pixel 7 Pro phones with the latest updates installed.  We are both in a group text with 2 other people who both have iPhones on Verizon.  We'll call them Bob and Sue for context.

Two nights ago, she received a message in the group text from Sue and I did not.   Looking at usage reports on T-Mobile it shows a record on my wife's account of the message from Sue's number but looking at my account it does not.

Today, I received a message in the group text from Sue and she did not.  Again, looking at usage reports I see the message on my account but not on her account.

Based on this, I am assuming that this is NOT something with our phones as T-Mobile systems don’t even show these messages in the usage reports.

I’d contact support but I’m not sure it would get anywhere and likely they would pass the blame to the other carrier or say it was our phone or the senders phone.

Thoughts? Anyone have this happen?

3 times this month i have briefly seen a text arrive, glancing quickly to note its a customer, & a few minutes later when I stop to truly read and reply to the correspondence it's missing completely. Not in spam not in junk not in deleted just like it never happened. T-Mobile says it can occasionally happen on a handoff between Towers that aren't theirs in Northern New England and when I replied just how does that work ie so when I come back into full coverage area are my texts being held and then downloaded back to my phone when coverage is good* and the response was *no that's not part of the process. Your texts are just gone.* WOW, just what you want to hear for a work phone.... also missing group texts, text from colleagues who are all in my contact list and are frequently contacted by cell and by email/text. Unless someone replies all to the initial correspondence I don't see it, I only see the reply from one of the other listed contacts who are on the original email or text. Samsung S24. Honestly between the drop calls while I'm sitting at the office in this mysterious text situation which is definitely the T-Mobile network for both situations, I'm wondering if saving $10 a month versus the Verizon stability was the right decision
