Mobile hotspot not displaying
rjephd wrote:Been trying to activate my mobile hotspot on a Galaxy Flip 3. I have the T mobile account with hotspot usage available. I have turned off the battery saver, flipped the airplane mode on/off, updated all files, activated the hotspot, added it to the networks, etc. Short of swinging a chicken over my head I think I covered all the bases. Still the hot spot does not appear on my listing of wifi networks. What am I missing? hp instant ink
Hola,
It sounds like you've tried several troubleshooting steps already! Let's explore a few more options to get your mobile hotspot working on your Samsung Galaxy Flip 3:
Check Hotspot Settings:
Make sure the mobile hotspot feature is enabled. You can find this in your phone's settings under "Connections" or "Network & Internet."
Verify that you have the correct data plan with hotspot usage included. Some carriers require an additional hotspot plan.
If you’ve recently changed carriers, tethering may not work until the function updates with your new carrier.
Verify Mobile Data:
Ensure that mobile data is enabled and working properly on your phone.
If you’re using a VPN service, disable it temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
Toggle Airplane Mode:
Turn on and off airplane mode to reset your connection.
Reboot Your Phone:
Sometimes a simple reboot can refresh network settings.
Turn Off Battery Saver:
Battery saver mode can sometimes block certain features. Disable it and check if the hotspot appears.
Check High-Speed Data Usage:
Confirm that you haven’t exceeded your high-speed data limit.
Billing Status:
Ensure your account is in good standing with your carrier.
Hope this will help you.
Saludos cordiales.
