hp 8020rinter wont connect to tmobile 5g or 2.4g
I cannot get my HP 8020 series all in on printer to connect to my computer or iPad which are all setup with a separate 2.4 and 5 g network. Any ideas it all ways says printer offline. The only thing I can get it to print from is my iPhone which is on the 5g network with the printer on the 2.4g network. I have tried everything any ideas
I finally got my HP 8020 series printer connected to my computers iPad and iPhone. I opened the T-Mobile internet app went to network tapped the + add network and set up a third network with a separate name and password. Set it as 2.4GHZ WPA/wpa2. Wpa tkip&aes saved it and it all works now.

So you have already created a 2.4 GHz network for your T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway? Try setting WPA Version to WPA/WPA2 (in the network settings for your 2.4 GHz network, in the mobile app.) I think your printer will be able to connect to your gateway then.

It is already set to wpa/wpa2 on the 2.4 GHZ and the printer won’t work on it but the strange thing is if I set my iPhone and iPad on the 5GHZ my printer will work It won’t work on my laptop or desktop because I can’t use the 5GHZ of them they are both on the same network 2.4GHZ as the printer I have tried everything and no luck with the computers and printer

I'm not completely following. I do know that the computer and printer can be on different networks on the gateway, because that's how mine is set up. My old HP printer is on the dedicated 2.4GHz network with WPA/WPA2 security. I can print from my laptop which is set to the default network on the gateway. Perhaps you have Wi-Fi Direct turned on and that is how your iPhone and iPad are able to print.
Maybe something here will help:

Thanks for trying to help. I did have direct print on my printer by mistake but I disconnected if. I tried to connect my iPhone and iPad to the 2.4GHZ network but they wouldn't print so I decided to try the 5GHZ on my phone and iPad with the printer set to 2.4GHZ and that worked. I know it's strange but everything works fine on my apple products. When I try on my windows computers no matter what I do they show printer offline or say it's turned off when it's not. I have tried the HP website and have not had any luck on the computers. I am ready to give up.

I have same issue with HP Officejet pro 8020 and T-Mobile internet. I have Windows laptops and Android phones. Some days we can print and some days not. I set up 2.4 ghz on a separate named network and still doesn't find the printer.
