How do I connect a Netgear Nighthawk wifi range extender to the T-Mobile internet gateway

It sounds like a lot but it can be done with a lot of patience and persistence. 

This method works.  It took me 10 minutes.  Thanks Detoxx11.  You saved me hours.  Now I can watch football.
