T-Mo gateway connection type for TP-Link Deco S4 mesh system
I will be receiving a 3-pack TP-Link Deco S4 mesh system tomorrow. When I use Deco phone app during setup, I need to enter gateway connection type. The choices are:
dynamic ip, static ip, PPPoE, L2TP, PPTP, Ds-Lite.
I don't want to enter the wrong code. Anybody has any idea?
Currently, I am using a TP-Link range extender. TP-Link app did not ask this during extender installation.
I checked the gateway user guide. There is no explanation unless I missed it.

One of my TM gateways is currently used with TPLink S4. I did not recall the specific options you mentioned during the app setup, but the TM gateway ethernet out plugs into the S4 in, and it just works.
I have the same question. Need to know Connection Type and IPTV/VLAN Settings.
Any updates on the connection type?
