Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra International SM-918B/DS

Does the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra International SM-918B/DS perform without deficiencies, performance degradation or software issues unique to that international model that are not an issue on the SM-918U US model on T-Mobile USA

  • There will be a couple of bands that the international version doesn't have.  4G LTE Bands 4, 14, 29, 30, 46, 48, 71 are not available on the international version according to GSM Arena.  New Radio is missing n71 is not present on the international version for starters and no mmWave compatibility at all on the international model because it lacks the physical antennas to work on nnWave.  Dual-pSIM is definitely nice but only you can decide if the trade off is worth it.

If you want root.  The S23 Ultra U, U1, and W (W lacks mmWave antennas) can be rooted but your device still needs to be on bootloader 1 to unlock the bootloader.  If it is on bootloader 2 or newer.  It is not possible to rollback the bootloader version currently.

@syaoran any insight? I would think if the international version has the bands Tmobile uses it should work fine.
