ok so my ps4 remote won't allow the microphone to work wjth the wireless unlimited wifi

So I have checked all settings on my ps4 and in the game settings. I have tested the 🎤 and it tests good on both the system settings and the game settings. The ps4 controller and the microphone are brand new just bought them 2 days ago, I even went and bought a new totally different microphone. They still won't work and was wondering if anyone had this issue while gaming? If so did you fix it and how???
