S22 no longer seen on PC after Nov 24 Win 11 Updates
After the last two Windows 11 updates between 11/06/24 & 11/08/2024 my S22 is no longer seen by File Explorer when plugged into the PC. Following several leads on net I have hard booted everything, re-installed Samsung USB drivers, changed USB cables, tested connection on wife's PC (not updated and all good there). I don't know enough about Windows or Samsung technology to TS this issue and hope someone else has seen and resolved this. If I should share more information I will do so if you can ask me a detailed enough question to find the info. Thank you everyone.
Samsung has made a change to a setting to be more privacy focused. In Settings, Security and Privacy, More Security Settings. Block USB connections while the device is locked is enabled by default. See if changing it to off resolves the connection issue.
