Sync Up 2 Watch Microphone Issues
We recently upgraded to the Sync Up 2 watch. Setting it up was a pain. If you upgrade from a previous watch, fully delete the previous watch from your sync up app BEFORE turning on the new watch. If not you may get a "weak signal' warning on the watch.
Anyhow, the microphone on this watch randomly turns off. The only way to make the microphone work again is either to reboot the watch (turn off/turn on) or to factory reset the watch.
Anyone else with this problem? Other solutions?

Both my kids watch require to switch off/on on daily basis to make the microphone working. Any permanent fix for this ongoing issue?

I have this issue since day 1 , obviously it is firmware issue. It requires constant restarts to keep the microphone alive . That won't help in emergency situations when you need yur kid to call from his watch right away , emergencies won't wait for a restart, so inconvenience.

Does anyone see any difference using the new T Life app? We're using the sync up app and unsure if that has anything to do with it. Got a notice the app is being discontinued.
I don't think it has anything to do with app , i think it is a firmware issue on the watch itself, anyway i just starting using the new app & will see.

We just opened the watch yesterday and are having microphone issues today. We can't hear our child on video calls and they can't send voice texts! Hopefully a restart will help. Thanks for the tip.

We just got ours set up early this morning and now the microphone is no longer working.

I'm in the process of taking ours back. Had to reset it 3 times in a week to get it work since day one.

It just seem there is a batch that don't work correctly. Supposedly the first gen of the watch didn't have this problem.

We're having the same issue with the microphone turning off without warning. Restarting has fixed it every time so far, but it means we can't have the function of making it so she can't not turn off the phone, and there's no way to know it's happened until she calls someone and they can't hear her. Really needs to be fixed!

I called T-Mobile customer care and they have agreed to replace both the kids watch. I hope this issue shouldn't occur in the replaced watch.
