Turning Off T-Mobile Gateways

T-Mobile 5G Internet Gateways are designed to run continuously, right?  So I am a little paranoid about leaving the house for any length of time with electronic devices running because of potential fire hazard issues. Can the T-Mobile 5G Home Internet Gateway be turned off for a few hours once in awhile and then be expected to come back online when the power is restored?  Does anybody do this?
