Turn off Gateway WiFi ?
If I use the HINT Control app to turn off the 2.4GHz Radio and the 5GHZ Radio, that is supposed to turn off the WiFi on the gateway, RIGHT? YouTube by Nader Tater says this might improve signal and let the gateway run cooler. Also, If I turn off the gateway WiFi, will I still be able to access the gateway with the HINT app if I want to turn it back on? I am currently accessing the internet through my ASUS router which is connected to the gateway with an ethernet cable.
Yes, you can turn off the gateway's Wi-Fi radios because you have a router connected to it via ethernet. Be sure the device with HINT Control is connected to the ASUS router's Wi-Fi.
