Anyone else having issues with the gateway? I have been having issues since before August with the internet dropping constantly and phone calls in the house constantly dropping. I work from home so this cannot happen. I have had multiple T-Mobile techs try to help. I have had a new gateway sent, we upgraded to the mesh, the reset the gateway, we even got a new sim card for the gateway. NOTHING is working. I have been seeing online that it has to do with the firmware update. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Issues that all started the moment I switched to Home Internet Plus. Ever since then, I've gone from generally fine speeds with the standard home internet plan to absolute garbage with this one. Higher upload speeds than download speeds? What's up with that? Assuming it was a hardware problem, I had it replaced. The same issues. High upload speed, abysmal download. Attached are the metrics of the router currently, as well as logs of my recent speed tests I've been doing over the course of the last few days. At first I thought it was placement, but I have no clue why sometimes the download speed would absolutely sore, like it did there near the middle of the speedtests... Returned 5G internet Gateway as speeds got worse over time. Returned in originalpackaging as instructedand in mint condition. Now they want $79 for saying the unit is damaged. I shipped the unit as customer service directed me to. Be aware of this tactic. T-Mobile is collecting millions by having the warehouse taking these in, either send fraudulent pictures or creating damage to the unit. When I got up this morning I noticed my internet was out and I looked at my router and it had no signal whatsoever so I thought where we had these flash floods and a lot of problems around here in Tennessee from the hurricanes that have been hitting that this may be it but now it's clear outside it's beautiful like there's a couple clouds here and there but not nothing serious and it's still out it has no signal could you please somebody or anybody help me on what should I do??65Visto0likes1ComentarioWhy am I shown in the wrong location?
I've spoken with T-mobile support several times about this issue and the last tec support guy said it's due to the location of their towers but noone else around here is having the issue. My location is in another state and it's bothersome when my bank sends me emails asking if it was me who just accessed my account. There are others who will do the same. And when I search for something, it brings up the wrong state. Googlehas me in the right location. Thishas to be a issue with my router. I lost power yesterday for 60 seconds. Since then I have no WiFi on my 5G gateway device. I have reset it and unplugged it a million times. My tv allows me to connect but the says it's not connected to WiFi. The gateway says it has a strong signal and then shows an error message and states it's not connected to WiFi. Like just about everyone else mycomplaint seems to be about a severe slow down in download and upload speeds at certain hours of the mornings,late afternoons and nightson my 5G home gateway. Restarting the gateway does nothing. Here is the real answer: T-Mobile oversells their services, phone and internet thusoverloading a cell towerscapacity. They do this so as not to tellpotential customers that they can't give them service. Making a sale is number one. This is what I was told by a salesperson who quit their job because they could not sell like this.Also 5G internet service is at the bottom of the priority chain with cell phone service at the top. 8/26/24 - suddenly all my 2.4 ghz devices (printer, smart bulbs) don't connect and it seems the 2.4 ghz channel disappeared. Anyone else have this issue? Using FAST 5688W gateway.
