My internet has been down for 5 days now with speeds varying from 1-5mbps. Called Tmobile multiple times, Unable to work from home, unable to use my phone as a hot spot due to data download issues in the area.. My Wife has ATT and her phone was getting 112 mbps down and 12.1 up My Tmobile device 4.61 mbps Down and 1.81 up Really tired of the repeated data problems with your service. Have to change providers on my phone so I can use it as a Hotspot, just so I can use the Internet at HOME due to T-Mobile Home Internet repeatedly breaking139Visto1like2ComentariosSlow Ethernet, fast WiFi
I'm having an issue with my Nokia gateway, connected to the Gateway WIFI I get over 400mbs. But connected to my router which is connected to the back of the gateway I only get top 160mbs. Is this a big in the firmware? I would get super fast speeds before on my router and all of a sudden they stop. I have used different WIFI 6 routers and still the same issue. Different cable, same issue. I even tried a different gateway, same issue. Is TMobile doing this on purpose to force customers to use their integrated WIFI. Anything will help.1.1KViews1like7ComentariosDisabling SIP/ALG on my new Tmobile Home Internet - FAST5688W
I've been running my work IP phone for over months with T-Mobile Home Internet with no change and all the sudden my desk phone will no longer work. WOrking with my company (we deploy this phone service) it appears that SIP/ALG may be the issue but can't find anything about disabling it on the Tmobile router. I'll need to get this resolved of will have to go back to a fiber connection.851Visto1like3ComentariosWhy is my T Mobile phone hotspot getting more consistent internet than my 5G gateway
Ever since my 5G gateway's firmware update I have had very inconsistent internet, especially during games. Meanwhile, I can connect my device to my phone's hotspot and have a better online gaming experience. Isn't it running on the same network? Why is my phone's internet better than my gateway? It's sad because the gateway solved a lot of problems for me in my area. It's getting to the point to where I don't do the things I like to do anymore because the experience is so bad, and I'm heavily considering going back to my original ISP. At least the bad internet would be consistent! Does anyone have a fix? Should I exchange my unit, wait for an update, or just abandon ship? Thanks in advanceSolved439Visto3likes2ComentariosDevices using wifi
According to the T-Mobile iPhone app, there are three devices using my wifi that I can not identify. I have unplugged the two devices that I know of but there are still three unknowns connected. BTW, turning off the wifi on wife's phone made no change to the number of devices connected. Is there some way to identify these devices? I just left Breezeline due to horrible service for over a month, and when it went out from home, my T-Mobile iPhone became my hotspot. After realizing it was more reliable than my landline Internet, I tried the T-Mobile Home Internet. I was shocked to get 700 down and 60 up, consistently, so after two weeks of successful stress testing I dropped Breezeline. With that said, here are my two main frustrations: I have a UniFi network with several APs in my home all connected to a UniFi switch and UniFi router… I am sure you can see where I'm going with this… 1) I do not need theSagemcom Fast 5688W router OR 2) its WiFi. You cannot disable WiFi on the unit, or put it into bridge mode to bypass the router. I have tried getting into the device with no luck. So now, I have a double NAT situation and the T-Mobile gateway is emitting frequencies that are going unused. This is a huge oversight on T-Mobile's end. T-Mobile, if you read these, I know a few people using your home internet, and they're all complaining of the same thing - Forums are also littered with this feedback as well - Please listen. Allow 1) Turning the WiFi radios off, and 2) bypass the gateway's routing using a bridge mode (I think that will work). This is very disappointing that it's so locked down, but with that said, I am happy with the reliability. I just would love to see some additional functionality added as I'm sure I'm not the only person using my own router or mesh system with their gateway. If anyone has any suggestions would love to hear. ¡Gracias!9.6KViews5likes16Comentarios5G Home Internet nightly slow down
Hey all, I've had the black 5G gateway for a couple days now, and have been a T-Mobile customer for just as long. I guess the issue I'm having is looking like one that a lot of other people are as well. During the day my gateway pulls about 500 Mbps and has a "Very Good" signal. Without moving or changing anything about the setup, usage area, or anything, around 8PM Eastern my speeds go down to MAX 5 Mbps. Nothing has changed other than the time of the day. I have a ticket open for the "local engineering department" to troubleshoot. It'll randomly be good during the night and then go back to the unusable 5 Mbps. I relayed this to Customer Care, and while they seem sympathetic to the plight, they ultimately just want me to continuously restart the gateway so they can reconnect it to the tower because it has "stopped communicating." Is this the common reply that everyone is getting? Restart on restart while waiting for engineers to troubleshoot your wifi, only tothen get told you need to restart to be reconnected to the tower, and then ultimately a factory default when they've exhausted their checklist?21KViews17likes63ComentariosChange Password and Name of Home Network
I just got T-Mobile internet and after connecting it all up I want to change the factory given password as well asthe name that shows up as my network. Using the I.P. address hasn't worked. Customer service chat said to go to the "network" page but didnt' say where that was. I have looked through out the website and app and cannot find where I can login as an admin to make this simple change. I did happen upon a T-Mobile page that said by clicking "here" I would be able to do this, but it's just a page that shows I'm connected. I just made this switch for internet and I"m wondering if I made a mistake… I have a Gateway Modem, White, stands up...Solved1.5KViews0likes5Comentarios"Secure Connection Failed" Error after 1.03.20 Update
I have the G4SE router which had been working pretty well until recently. I like many others had the VPN disconnection issue that was recently fixed with the 1.03.20 firmware update. While this update did fix my VPN disconnection issue, it did introduce a brand new issue. I am able to connect to my VPN, and access my email, and internal company messaging systems like Teams. However, my internet connection is now being blocked from accessing any internal company sites, systems, or shared drivers or folders. I receive the following error message below "Secure Connection Failed" Error Code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified" I have never received this message before with any T-Mobile gateways, and it only occurred after this latest firmware update. I have tried both Wifi, and ethernet connection to the gateway. I have reset the gateway and played with somewindows settings but haven't found a solution. Has anyone else had this problem after this update? Any suggested fixes?294Visto1like3Comentarios
