T-Mobile limits number of 5g gateways

I'm a long-time T-Mobile customer and had 3 5g gateways on my account at 3 separate locations earlier in 2023.  We sold a home and turned in one of the gateways (now we have only 2).  I recent tried to add a 3rd gateway at another location and T-Mobile will not allow -- says 2 is the limit!  Change of policy which makes no sense to me.  Anyway, has anyone else had this issue?  I solved it by getting a Verizon 5g gateway at exactly the same cost ---  and based on this fiasco and waste of my time, I'm considering changing all my service to Verizon.  Again, any comments from T-Mobile users appreciated.
