Prepaid Esim

Hola,

I am planning on purchasing an esim for use during my trip to Chicago. (My first time in the USA)

I want to know if I will be assigned a personal phone number using which people can call me during my stay. So does this esim have the same functionality as a physical sim or is it used only for data?
