Can I get Apple TV with a phantom iPhone?
So I tried to get the Apple TV deal but don't have an iPhone. so they said I don't qualify. T-Mobile thinks one of my new phones is an iphone 12 (it is an S24 Ultra), so for the purpose of Apple TV ...
You don't need an iPhone... you can sign up and use the Apple TV plus website using chrome. I have a pixel and it's not an issue. I will say though you may want to use a computer or tablet if you have those because streaming Apple TV on Android really sucks. It's just a website and you click links.
In order to access the website and sign up you will have to click the option that says desktop website. You can find this by clicking the 3 dots on the right side of your chrome page. The apple tv website works in desktop mode only not in the default mode (mobile). It needs to be in desktop mode for you to sign up and also to watch. It's honestly not worth all this... but that's how you do it.
