Same Exact Problem. Your question: "Can you not schedule a school mode for overnight? " gave me an insight. I am now setting up two school modes to cover overnight, one from bedtime until midnight & one from midnight until wake up time. Hope it works and gets around the programming bug🤞🏼. It will, of course, double the number of my notifications but hopefully it doesn't leave any gaps.
