Forwarding posts to friends via FB Msgr

Hola community, 

I'm having trouble forwarding tiktocs and other video clips to friends via facebook messenger, instagram. When my friends try to open and view them, they aren't available for some reason. This happens almost all of the time. However, when I'm sent videos, I can view them without issue. Is this something that can be remedied in settings or how do I fix? I have an Apple 13 Pro. One friend is on another carrier with a Samsung phone, the other is an apple phone on the t-mobile platform.
