n41 band showing inconsistent speeds
I have been having this problem for a little while now and I can't figure out what is causing it. Whenever I am connected to the n41 band and I run speed tests on Ookla and I am connected to a t mobi...
Ok from what I found online with the numbers.
RSRQ: - 10, -9, -8...so on is Excellent so as the numbers go down the better
RSRP: - 89, -88, -87...so on is Excellent so as the numbers go down the better
SINR: 11, 12, 13 and up is Excellent so as the numbers go UP the better
Band N41: Maximum Speed Band
So you can go from here and see the numbers and compare to yours where the bottleneck is.
If you have to use Ookla, use the App vs the Browser connection and Ethernet connection to your gateway.
I have lots of inconsistencies where download becomes unusable with certain websites and goes down to .7 mbps with the average slow to 3-5 mbps. The upload on the other hand is usually very good. Seems that traffic to the tower I use may be very hight or have peak hours. However, It is majorly screwed up of TMobile to at least give a decent minimum since they are more than happy to charge a premium. Perhap TMobile can rethink their strategy and optimize to make all connections have some sort of bottom floor speed rather than some remain high and others are more than screwed over. If this can't be done, they should stop getting more 5g Internest subscribers in my area.
