Poor service in and around Wichita,Ks.

My T-Mobile Home Internet isn't what was advertised. I live outside of Wichita and have no access to wired or fiber service. My old company was an AM radio form of internet and very bad speeds when it worked.

When T-Mobile arrived I thought I was saved. Their service is great when it works. Then the speeds drop to as low as 2mps or the internet disconnects. This happens multiple times a day. Doesn't matter the time or traffic as it will drop at 1:30am, as it did this morning.

I've lost track of calls to tech support with the answer always being "It's a tower issue or upgrade". Same answer I've gotten for 10 years from other providers.

My church switched to save money. Service is so bad we're switching back to our old more expensive provider. The church is several miles away, in a different zip code and yet they get same answers when calling about the same issues I have.

When I get a different option T-Mobile will be kicked to the curb.

Where are you located?  I am in Andover and have had the service for over a year.  It was rocky at first but got better over time.  I had issues a couple months ago while the tower was being upgraded but that lasted for a month and now I'm back to my 500+ download speeds.

  • I'm south of Haysville.  I've had their service since October.  My speeds have never been over 180mps  which is far better than the 2 to 5 I've had from other providers. They have been telling me "tower upgrades" since the day I installed it. I went for 3 days unable to send an email with a photo. I reset the gateway several times a week so it can find another connection during power up. Works OK for a day or so then off it goes. Pixies and KwiKom the same thing. It's been over 10 years now. Getting very old.
