How to use High-Speed Internet Gateway with Existing Router

I have not got the service yet. I am trying to plan ahead.
- Does the Tmo 5g modem pass thru all the ip ports? In other words, does it block any ip port?
- Has anybody run a server off this modem?
- How often does the internet ip change? If I power down and restart will it change the ip?
- Is there any third party modem that Tmobile will allow to be used instead of their own?
