Home Internet vs Home Internet Plus

I’ve looked ait the comparison of the Home Internet plan vs Home Internet Plus plan and am I correct that the difference is that the Home Internet Plus plan includes the G4AR and Wi-Fi Mesh Access Point while the Home Internet plan includes the Arcadyan KVD21 (and no Mesh).

  • I don't know which model gateway is current with the base plan, but the rest of your assumption sounds correct. I think they provide more "support" with the Plus plan, for what it's worth.

if you have been able to cover your home with a single Wi-Fi router, you'll probably be fine with the base plan/gateway. If you find you need more coverage, you can buy your own mesh.

I was able to get a G4AR recently with a regular account.

Yes, I forgot to mention that Plus also includes “unlimited tech support from Assurant® Personal TechPro for any Wi-Fi connected devices in the home.”

  • Today, an agent offered to order a mesh for free so I can extend my coverage.  I am not sure if he was aware that I already have plus. Should I say yes to that? I really don't need a total of two meshes, but I am wondering if by using the free mesh he send me, I can actually change my plan to the regular 5G and pay less monthly by using the free mesh and returning the one that came with my 5G plus plan. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
